How to use these calculators

Risk a fixed percentage

Many traders risk 0.5% to 2% of their balance per trade, so a losing streak cannot wipe out the account.

The stop loss sets the lot

First decide where the stop goes on the chart, then calculate the lot size. Never the other way around.

Losses weigh more than gains

After losing 50% you need a 100% gain just to break even. That is why limiting drawdown matters so much.

Want your EA to calculate this on every trade?

We build risk management into your Expert Advisor: automatic lot size from your balance, mandatory stop loss and a daily drawdown limit.
